Collective Care is a fashion illustration project that reinterprets traditional menshen (door gods) as symbolic protectors for China’s empty-nest elderly. Blending cultural heritage with contemporary fashion aesthetics, the work transforms these figures into visual companions that embody warmth, strength, and emotional presence—offering a gentle reminder of collective responsibility and care within an aging society.
